NBAA-BACE The Place to Be In 2018
Wednesday, 13 September 2017 17:16Assisting aerospace and defense companies to showcase their products and services to the international marketplace is a longstanding mission of the AADA. International trade shows are an excellent way to accomplish that goal. One such tradeshow that is quite popular in the Aerospace and Defense community is the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE).
It is one of the largest business aviation events in the world, and come 2018—AADA is going and you can too. Our president, Gina Radke says, “Bringing all the major OEM’s of corporate aircraft together, has been noted as being ‘a years’ worth of business in 3 days.’” The NBAA show not only connects those suppliers who support corporate aviation, but it connects those suppliers with third tier suppliers such as machine shops, advertising, labels, QA consultants, hardware and chemical suppliers, and many more. Basically, if an aerospace company needs it to run, you can sell it at NBAA.
We are carrying through with our commitment to provide more value to our members and to other Arkansas Aerospace companies. We are excited to provide this opportunity. AADA will partner with the Arkansas World Trade Center to provide a booth at the 2018 NBAA-BACE. This will drastically lower the cost of a company attending and participating with an exhibit space.
This will give a limited number of members the opportunity to showcase what Arkansas companies have to offer on an international stage to a larger audience. AADA invites member companies to partner in the AADA booth. Partnership is open to all, on a first come, first pay basis. If you are interested, mark your calendars for Oct 16-18th. The 2018 NBAA-BACE show will be held in Orlando Florida.
Our goal and overall hope for this trip are twofold. Grow our members’ companies’ customer base and advertise Arkansas as the ideal location for aerospace and defense companies. The more aerospace and defense companies in Arkansas the greater customers base for local companies.
Companies such as Bombardier, Airbus Corporate Jets, General Electric, Honeywell, Piper, Pratt and Whitney are among some of the companies that will be in attendance and available for network opportunities. We want to take our Arkansas companies to the global stage by attending this large networking event and as Chad Causey, our Executive Director states, “leave our footprint on the tradeshow floor.”
It is our hope that this tradeshow is the first of many to come. The National Business Aviation Association’s mission statement is “dedicated to helping businesses achieve its highest goals.” Part of our mission at AADA is to help create business opportunities. Come with us, under the banner of AADA and let’s achieve the highest goal for all of us: Putting Arkansas on the map as the place to do business in Aerospace and Defense.
