Factory orders up 1.7% on aircraft sales

WASHINGTON - Orders to U.S. factories rose in September on a big jump in commercial aircraft demand. But businesses cut back sharply on machinery and other goods that signal their confidence to expand, a sign of slower economic growth.
The Commerce Department said Monday that factory orders increased 1.7 percent in September from August. That followed a 0.1 percent decline in August and a 2.8 percent plunge in July.

Airport puts complex on market, Hawker Beechcraft completion center seeks new tenant

The state’s largest airport will enlist a commercial broker specializing in aviation properties to market the major complex that once housed the Hawker Beechcraft completion center and related facilities, and to look for a new tenant.

Dassault unveils new business jet

$45 million Falcon 5X to be finished out at expanded LR plant
